Terms of Service

Last updated: 29/05/2026

1. Agreement to terms

By accessing or using Rig Scene (“the Service”), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you are using the Service on behalf of an organisation, you confirm that you have authority to bind that organisation to these terms.

If you do not agree, you must not use the Service.

2. Description of the Service

Rig Scene is a web-based asset management platform. It allows organisations to organise sites as assets, upload level plans and 360 imagery, and optionally enable modules such as dropped object (PDO) management. Features available to you depend on your subscription plan and organisation settings.

3. Accounts and access

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity under your account. You must notify us promptly if you suspect unauthorised access.

User roles (such as read-only, user, and editor) are assigned by your organisation. Your organisation controls who may access its data and what they may do within the Service.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

We may suspend or terminate access where we reasonably believe these terms have been breached.

5. Your data and content

You retain ownership of the data and content you upload to the Service. You grant Rig Scene a limited licence to host, process, and display that content solely to provide and improve the Service.

You are responsible for ensuring you have the rights to upload and use any content you provide, including floor plans, images, and site data.

Our use of personal data is described in our Privacy Policy.

6. Subscriptions, billing, and trials

Paid plans, demo access, and billing terms are agreed separately or as described on the Rig Scene website at the time of purchase. Fees, plan limits, and renewal periods apply as stated in your order or contract.

Demo access is provided for evaluation purposes and may be limited in duration, features, or data retention.

7. Availability and support

We aim to keep the Service available and reliable but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. Planned maintenance, updates, or factors outside our control may cause temporary disruption.

Support levels depend on your plan. Unless otherwise agreed in writing, the Service is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis.

8. Intellectual property

Rig Scene, including its software, branding, documentation, and website content (excluding your uploaded content), is owned by or licensed to us and protected by applicable intellectual property laws. These terms do not grant you any rights to our trademarks or proprietary materials except as needed to use the Service.

9. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Rig Scene shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for loss of profits, data, or business opportunity arising from use of the Service.

Our total liability arising out of or relating to the Service shall not exceed the fees paid by you for the Service in the twelve months preceding the claim, except where liability cannot be excluded by law.

Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or any other liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law.

10. Termination

You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you breach these terms, fail to pay applicable fees, or where required for legal or security reasons.

On termination, your right to access the Service ends. Provisions that by their nature should survive (including data ownership, liability limits, and governing law) will continue to apply.

11. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. We will post the revised version on this page and update the “Last updated” date. Where changes are material, we may provide additional notice where appropriate.

Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

12. Governing law and contact

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Courts in England and Wales shall have exclusive jurisdiction, subject to any mandatory rights you may have under local consumer law.

For questions about these terms, please use the contact form on the Rig Scene website or email info@rigscene.com.
