360 virtual tours

Upload panoramas, place camera nodes on level plans, and navigate sites in an immersive viewer.

  • Camera nodes — Create nodes on each level plan, upload 2:1 equirectangular panoramas, and place them on the map.
  • 360 virtual tour viewer — Walk sites in an immersive panorama viewer. Open from asset cards, the map, camera nodes, or the tag register.
  • Timeline capture — Store multiple dated panoramas on the same node to compare before-and-after inspections over time.
  • Tagging in the virtual tour — Place tags, polylines, and polygon annotations on panoramas from the FAV menu. Attach images and optionally link tags to PDOs.
  • Tag manager — Enable built-in tag types, create custom types with colours, and control which types appear in the 360 viewer.
  • Tag register — Browse all viewer tags on an asset. Search, filter by level or type, and jump back into the tour from any tag.
  • Drawing register — Upload reference PDFs or images. Link regions on a drawing to viewer tags to cross-reference plans and panoramas.
  • Viewer calibration — Adjust default zoom, initial yaw and pitch, sphere correction, and field of view per panorama.
  • 360 visibility on the map — Toggle camera node markers and names. Expand nodes per level in the left drawer with linked tags.

  • PDO register — Filter, sort, search, archive and restore PDOs. Export to CSV, download PDF reports, and view audit history.
  • PDO dashboard — Counts by type and severity, asset filters, and overdue alerts for removals and audits.
  • PDO form & severity — Full hazard details, severity calculator, exclusion zone guidance, mitigations, and custom PDO types.
  • Hazard zones — Draw polygon zones on the map. PDOs inside a zone reference the zone in mitigations.

  • What happens after my demo?

    After the demo, we can set up a company-specific logon tailored to your organisation. Customisation is also an option — get in touch to discuss your needs.

  • Is my data secure?

    Yes. Data is stored securely and access is controlled by your organisation, which advises the accounts required. We host the platform on secure cloud servers. You can export data (e.g. CSV, images, PDF reports) if you require and manage user roles.

  • Can I use my own floor plans or level images?

    Yes. You upload level images (floor plans, deck layouts, aerial imagery, or 360 panoramas) per asset. Each level can have its own map, with optional PDO and hazard zone data when the PDO module is enabled.

  • What file formats do you support for floor plans or level images?

    You can upload common image formats for level backgrounds (e.g. floor plans, deck layouts, aerial imagery). We can also assist with lifting floor plans from CAD or other formats—see the support FAQ or contact us for details.

  • What support do you offer?

    Support depends on your plan. We can assist with lifting floor plans from CAD files or other formats (for a nominal fee) and with set-up if required. Setting up the webapp is designed to be intuitive and includes a built-in help section. Get in touch via the contact form for details; we aim to respond to enquiries promptly.

  • What modules are available?

    Rig Scene is built around core asset management — organising sites, uploading maps, and viewing assets via 360 imagery. Optional modules such as the PDO (Potential Dropped Object) manager can be enabled per organisation. Contact us to discuss which modules fit your needs.

  • What is a PDO?

    A PDO (Potential Dropped Object) is any item that could fall and cause injury or damage — e.g. tools, equipment, or materials at height. When the PDO module is enabled, Rig Scene helps you identify, track, mitigate, and verify removal of PDOs in one auditable place.

  • Does it work with poor or intermittent internet?

    Yes. The webapp detects when you go offline and handles reconnection, so it can be used on sites with limited or unreliable connectivity.

  • How do user roles work?

    There are three account types: User (create and edit PDOs), Editor (full edit access), and Read-only (view and export only). Your organisation decides who gets which role.

  • Can I use Rig Scene on mobile or tablet?

    Rig Scene works best on desktop web browsers. It can also be used on devices with a minimum screen size of a landscape iPad; we recommend a minimum display size of 1024×768 pixels for the best experience.

  • Is there a limit on PDOs or assets?

    Limits depend on your deployment. Contact us to discuss what fits your organisation.
